NFL DFS DraftKings Cash Picks: Week 12 (Fantasy Football)

NFL DFS cash games are all about building a high-floor lineup that can win in head-to-heads, 50/50s, and double-ups. Each week I’ll highlight my favorite cash game picks that I have some confidence heading into the weekend to put into my player pools.

Quarterbacks

Patrick Mahomes $8,200
My lean is to try to drop down a tier at QB on this slate to fit some of the elite RB and WR options, but I can’t fault anyone for spending up for Mahomes in this spot at home against a Rams team that’s circling the drain. Since Week 6, the Rams rank 19th in passing yards per game allowed and 19th in EPA per drop back. They’re also 31st in pressure rate on the season and 29th in DVOA defending deep passes. The front runner for MVP has been nothing short of incredible this season. He should look to add another two or three scores onto his 23 red zone passing TDs so far this year. For reference, that puts him on pace for 39 scores from inside the 20-yard line, which would set a new NFL record. KC’s 28.5 point team total is the second highest on Week 12’s main slate.
