NFL DFS Best Plays for Week 9 (Fantasy Football)
Each week we will review some of the content found in the DFS Pass and discuss some of our most confident plays heading into Sunday. A lot can change over the weekend, especially with injury news (See Betz’s Injury Blitz podcast) and roster percentages shifting who is in-or-out before roster lock time. Let’s review.

Week 9 Main Slate Podcast
Locked-In Cash Plays
Borg – With Tee Higgins is out, I am punting with Mike Gesicki in cash. It’s not the sexiest play but on a full PPR site, he should see solid volume. He’s seen 4, 9, and 8 targets in the 3 games that Higgins missed this year. The $3100 price tag is perfect for our stars and scrub build this week.
Betz – The seas have parted for Chase Brown with Zack Moss and Tee Higgins both out this week. Cincy is at home as a 7-point favorite against a Raiders team that gives it up to RBs. He’s too cheap on both sites.
DraftKings Core Plays
These are the 3-5 players at each position we have mixed in our cash player pool. Based on salaries, late news, and budget constraints, it is guaranteed you will not be able to fit in all of them. But their high floors and team-implied totals make them great plays for the week in both cash & GPPs.
These are simply in order of favorite core players. You obviously won’t be able to fit all in a cash lineup and there are salary tradeoffs for paying up at each position.

We love Jalen Hurts at the top this week at home against the Jags. Unfortunately, we also love the stud WRs and you can’t play everyone. It’s a decision point on this slate as far as preferred builds. If you want to punt it off at QB, we prefer Minshew or Daniel Jones, but obviously there’s downside risk here. In the mid range, Dak is our preferred target in a potential shootout against the Falcons.
