Locked-In Cash Plays
Borg – I have Breece Hall locked in my cash lineup this week. He was featured in Marvin Elequin’s Expectation Report and since the play calling shifted to Todd Downing over the last two weeks, Hall has 41 touches and 88 total snaps. Braelon Allen looks like a distant memory at this point and the Patriots’ run defense is abysmal. They are PFF’s 27th graded run defenses and rank 31st in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed to the RB position. Regardless of the game script, Hall is going to be involved in the offense.
The Jets are 7 point road favorites in NE.
The last time a team with 2 or fewer wins was a TD favorite at this point in the season: 1976.

Betz – Assuming we get a clean bill of health on Tyreek Hill, he’s in there for me at just $7,000. It’s been forever since ‘Reek has been usable in fantasy, and now we get a $1,700 discount from his Week 1 salary in a matchup against the Cardinals. If Hill should get ruled out or we get negative reports on his health, Jaylen Waddle is an easy pivot at just $5,400.
DraftKings Core Plays
These are the 3-5 players at each position we have mixed in our cash player pool. Based on salaries, late news, and budget constraints, it is guaranteed you will not be able to fit in all of them. But their high floors and team-implied totals make them great plays for the week in both cash & GPPs.
These are simply in order of favorite core players. You obviously won’t be able to fit all in a cash lineup and there are salary tradeoffs for paying up at each position.
| DraftKings-QB | BORG | BETZ |
| 1 | Jordan Love | Bo Nix |
| 2 | Bo Nix | Jordan Love |
| 3 | Joe Burrow | Jameis Winston |
| 4 | Geno Smith | Jalen Hurts |
| 5 | Patrick Mahomes | Geno Smith |
Love is the perfect blend of salary, proven floor, and upside this week with the highest team implied total of the week. Bo Nix and the Broncos as a double-digit favorite is enticing as well but it ultimately comes down to Nix or Javonte Williams in your cash lineup. We are into Joe Burrow for the pure passing volume and weapons. The high-priced QBs (Lamar, Allen & Hurts) are all going to be barely rostered so be willing to go there in tournaments. Very few QBs can hit a ceiling of 30+ DK points like those guys.
