Locked-In Cash Plays

Borg – On a slate with so much uncertainty, paying up for Justin Jefferson feels like a safety blanket. He’s the great home WR in league history averaging 103 receiving yards per game and a win here at home gives the Vikings a shot at overtaking the Lions in Week 18 for the division crown and the No. 1 seed in the NFC. A lot is on the line … and selfishly I am playing against JJetts in my home league. I’ve squeezed as much juice as possible out of this emotional hedge angle, eh?

Betz – Bucky Irving gets the matchup we’ve been attacking all season long at just $6,700 with Tampa favored at home by 8 points against Carolina. Tampa’s 28 implied team total is tied with Buffalo for the highest on the slate. For me, he’s the first piece in cash games this week.

DraftKings Core Plays

These are the 3-5 players at each position we have mixed in our cash player pool. Based on salaries, late news, and budget constraints, it is guaranteed you will not be able to fit in all of them. But their high floors and team-implied totals make them great plays for the week in both cash & GPPs.

These are simply in order of favorite core players. You obviously won’t be able to fit all in a cash lineup and there are salary tradeoffs for paying up at each position.

Sam Darnold is the safest option this week at home, in a dome. Jordan Love is more volatile in that same game but certainly warrants cash consideration if you want to go that route. Expect to see a ton of builds start with GB/MIN. Beyond that, the field shrinks considerably this week when you realize the QBs available to us on this main slate.
