NFL DFS Best Plays for Week 16 (Fantasy Football)
Each week we will review some of the content found in the DFS Pass and discuss some of our most confident plays heading into Sunday. Week 16 Main Slate Podcast
Locked-In Cash Plays
Borg – I’m not messing around with other QBs in cash. Justin Fields is my dude based on the rushing floor and incredible matchup against Arizona. This slate is pretty barren on top-end QB talent and Fields’ salary mixed with upside is worth the price of admission in cash.
Betz – The Lions have played well in run defense, but this Minnesota/Detroit game carries one of the slate’s highest total, Alexander Mattison seems likely to miss this game, and it’s tough to find RBs who have a chance to touch the ball 20+ times at a sub $6K price. Ty Chandler is in there for me.
DraftKings Core Plays
These are the 3-5 players at each position we have mixed in our cash player pool. Based on salaries, late news, and budget constraints, it is guaranteed you will not be able to fit in all of them. But their high floors and team-implied totals make them great plays for the week in both cash & GPPs.
These are simply in order of favorite core players. You obviously won’t be able to fit all in a cash lineup and there are salary tradeoffs for paying up at each position.

We love the floor/ceiling combo from Justin Fields this week given that this slate lacks the elite high end options. Arizona has been destroyed all year, and they can’t rush the passer, so this is a pretty clean spot for Fields at home. If you want to save money for cash games, Mullens is viable against the Detroit pass funnel defense.
