Quarterback

Justin Herbert vs. New York Jets $6,800

Justin Herbert has thrown multiple touchdowns and returned at least 3.15x value in each of his last six games. He is averaging 299.1 air yards per game and ranks 8th among quarterbacks in deep balls thrown. Along with the safe passing floor, Herbert has also shown the mobility to keep his rushing floor alive as well, with an average of 4.6 rush attempts per game and three rushing touchdowns this season. This week, Herbert faces a Jets defense that has allowed the 4th-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season and ranks last in DVOA against the pass. The Chargers are 8.5-point favorites with an implied point total of 27.75 points.

Well, part of what you sold was grab a lineup, so it’s a bit disappointing to look Sunday morning a half hour before kickoff and find what sold you not there…

Why’d you stop putting your lineups at the end of this article?

Rob Waziak says:

I decided to remove them as recently as last week. It was something new that I tried this season, but didn’t like how it was going for the first half of the season.

I feel like it started taking away from the article itself, as well as the other supporting content available in the DFS Pass. Some people only wanted the lineup and that wasn’t the point of it, you know? If you noticed, the lineup was usually always derived directly from the players listed in the articles so anyone could still create a lineup from the articles if they wanted to.

Lastly, I have to have the articles ready by Wednesday night which means there are still at least three days before the slate goes live. I’m unable to keep the article or lineup updated due to my busy schedule. Having an outdated lineup helps no one. The original intention of these weekly articles was to give you a head-start look at the slate and give you a bit of understanding of my thought process.

I hope this makes sense and that you still continue to consume the information despite not having an example lineup. I highly encourage you to read as much of the content you can and use the lineup optimizer to help you make the decisions YOU want to make with OUR advice.
