DFS WR vs. CB Matchups to Monitor in Week 12
Last week, this article was a goldmine of fantasy goodness recommended the likes of Keenan Allen (16/145/1 on 19 targets), Michael Thomas (9/104/0 on 12 targets), Adam Thielen(8/123/2 on 11 targets), Cooper Kupp(11/145/0 on 13 targets), Diontae Johnson (12/111/0 on 16 targets), and D.J. Moore (7/127/0 on 11 targets). Wowzers!
For Week 12, it’s never a better time to integrate specific WR/CB matchups into your DFS process. While this is only a piece of the puzzle, this tool allows you to better value ceiling-type plays for elite WRs and who can run circles around their opponent.
I’ve broken up this year’s WR/CB article into a couple of categories: Alpha WRs, Slot Mavens, Discount Target Specials, and Full-On Fades. The goal is to go from the top-tier stars to move down to bargain WRs with excellent matchups. As always, make sure you use the tools found in the DFS Pass such as the Value Comparison and Buzz Report to discern which WR would be best in cash and tournament lineup builds.
Alpha WRs
Don’t shy away from DeAndre Hopkins this week. New England might sound like an intimidating matchup but they aren’t. Stephon Gilmore is allowing a 67% completion rate, 10.0 yards per target, and 15.0 yards per catch… those are #bad numbers and whenever he covers someone in the slot, he’s been even worse. Like bottom-5 in the league bad. He’s more of a tournament play for me given the fact how expensive of a stack Murray + Hopkins is.
