DFS Thanksgiving Day Slate Picks & Preview
Welcome to the best DFS slate of the entire year – the three-game Thanksgiving day slate! Not only will we be stuffing our faces with turkey and all the fixins’ all day long, we’ll also be stuffing our DraftKings and FanDuel pockets with extra cash while playing NFL DFS. Below are my top picks for each position as well as some off the wall large field tournament plays.

Quarterback
Deshaun Watson, DraftKings: $7,400 / FanDuel: $8,600
Watson is priced up this week as the QB1 on both sites and rightly so. Since Bill O’Brien was fired, Deshaun Watson has finished as a top 10 fantasy QB in five of six games. In that same time frame, Watson also has 2+ TD passes in five of six games, making him the best QB play on Thanksgiving. The Texans have the highest team implied total on the slate in a game against the Lions that features the highest over/under of the day. With Detroit ranking 27th in adjusted sack rate, Watson should have plenty of time to pick apart the Detroit secondary. I love Watson as a cash game foundation type of play but am happy to play him in tournaments as well. However, be sure to get contrarian at other positions in your lineup if playing in large field GPPs, as Watson will certainly be the highest owned QB on the slate.
