DFS Picks for Saturday’s 2-Game Divisional Round Slate
Unlike last weekend, DraftKings and FanDuel decided to make the Saturday to Sunday 4-game slate the Main Slate for the Divisional Round, but both sites are still offering a Saturday only 2-game slate. The Divisional round will feature two fantastic matchups on Saturday: The Packers are hosting the LA Rams while the Bills look to stay hot against the Ravens in front of Bills Mafia.
Remember, on a 2-game slate, the player pool is much limited and as a result, roster percentage in tournaments will be elevated. As a result, it’s generally recommended to identify the top plays to build your lineup and then go off the board at one or two positions rather than trying to be too contrarian. It’s easier to get buried by ‘good chalk’ on small slates like Saturdays, so be sure to keep that in mind if playing in tournaments. Below are my favorite plays at each position for the Divisional Round. Be sure to check out my Vegas Report article that highlights my thoughts on the game environment for each matchup.
Josh Allen $7,400 on DraftKings / $8,800 on FanDuel
After putting up yet another impressive fantasy stat line last week, Josh Allen is a fixture for me in cash games on Saturday’s 2-game slate, especially considering that Zack Moss is out for the remainder of the playoffs with a high ankle sprain. Look for Buffalo to run more four-wide sets, further increasing Josh Allen‘s drop back rate and thereby increasing his changes of off-script plays and designed runs. I like Allen’s chances of finishing as the top overall scoring QB on Saturday’s slate given that he tied Zack Moss with carries inside the 10-yard line this year, and now Moss won’t be there, giving Allen an excellent chance of finding the end zone with his legs when the Bills get in close.
