Welcome back to the DFS Vegas Report for the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs. I’ll look at the Vegas lines and totals from a DFS perspective and explain how to attack each game in DFS. I’ll highlight which players are the most stackable, who are recommended cash and GPP plays, and who look like they should be faded. Listen and subscribe to the Fantasy Footballers’ DFS Podcast as Kyle and I will analyze these games for the Divisional Round DFS slate.

Cleveland Browns @ Kansas City Chiefs, KC -10.5, O/U: 56.0

This line opened at 54.5 points and has already been bet up a full point and a half, suggesting this is a game stack we’ll want some exposure to this weekend in DFS lineups. As 9.5 point home favorites, the Chiefs are the building block for any and all DFS lineups this week. Their 33.25 implied total according to Vegas is the highest by a wide margin on the slate, but it’s for good reason, and to be perfectly honest, it’s probably not high enough. In Chiefs games with Andy Reid as head coach and Patrick Mahomes at QB when coming off the bye, Kansas City has scored 40, 31, 40, 51, and 35 points. While last week’s game certainly is not normal for the Browns secondary, who were down multiple corners because of Covid-IR protocols, they’re the worst secondary left in the playoffs. Playing pass funnel defense all season, Cleveland’s defense ranked 25th in pass defense this season, and when playing on the road, they’ve allowed 312 passing yards per game, dead last in the NFL. Mahomes stacks this weekend should pay off in a big way.
