Week 17 is a wild beast to tame. With many star players sitting or playing a limited number of snaps, there are more variables with more games to choose from than any other week. We have 15(!) games on the main slate this week compared to just ten last week.

Player pricing on the major DFS platforms is available to us well before we even start our process of building lineups and allows us to identify the inefficiencies, a tool within the toolbelt of someone who wants to win consistently in DFS. For the complete list of DraftKings and FanDuel prices, check out this week’s DFS rankings found in the Ultimate DFS Pass.

Quarterback

Patrick Mahomes is off the board this week so you’ll have to pivot to other options.

DraftKingsTom Brady ($7,200) lit the world on fire (albeit for one half) last week and gets a Falcons team he bested two weeks ago. In the same game, Matt Ryan ($5,900) threw for 356 yards and three TDs against the Buccaneers without Julio Jones. Both are viable although Brady seems like the safer cash game play… Ryan Tannehill ($7,000) still carries upside in Vegas’ highest projected total (56) of Week 17. The Titans need to win to get in. If Deshaun Watson plays, the pace will be pushed… The Colts are in a similar situation needing to win to get in versus the Jaguars. Should be a cakewalk and therefore Philip Rivers ($6,000) is in play as Indianapolis carries the highest team implied total (32) of the week and Jacksonville ranks 32nd in pass DVOA.
