Every week the First Look article gives you a taste of the slate and some of the more intriguing salaries that DraftKings releases. The goal is to identify early-week cash game considerations, as well as potential tournament plays before we piece together the stacking options. On Tuesdays, I share some of these insights on the Fantasy Footballers DFS & Betting Podcast if you want further commentary on some of the salary standouts.

Here are the games for this week’s main slate* including implied totals for each team (TIP) for each matchup.

Overview

For newcomers, the main slate for DFS includes the Sunday early (1:00 EST) and afternoon games (4:25 EST). At first glance, here are a couple of things to note:

  • Off the Main Slate: BUF, MIA, KC, NYG, BAL, DET
  • Bye Week Teams: N/A
  • The CHI/DAL game was bet up from 48.5 to 49.5. It profiles as head-and-shoulders above the rest at first glance.
  • 12 of the 13 games in the main slate have a total between 41.5 and 45.5. That makes an incredible slate to differentiate yourself from the field and sort through secondary stacks.
  • A lot of the heavy hitters at QB (Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, suddenly Russell Wilson) are not on this slate.
