Drew Brees vs. LAR $8,800
Drew Brees remains at home where he averaged 321.6 passing yards over his eight regular season games with a 21:1 TD:INT ratio. Brees struggled early last week but finished with 301 yards and two touchdowns. This game has a much higher point total (56.5) and it’s being played indoors. Brees had four touchdowns Week 9 against the Rams as the two teams combined for 80 points. New Orleans’ 30.5 team implied total is the highest of the week.
Patrick Mahomes vs. NE $9,000
Patrick Mahomes failed to throw a touchdown last week and still managed 17.92 points. It was his lowest total of the season and he still outscored two of the other three Q’s who are on the slate this week. He had no problem against the Patriots in Week 6: 352 yards and four TDs. The cold weather doesn’t really bother me as Mahomes has passed just about every test this season. We don’t know if he can’t play in cold weather. In fact, he did just fine last week.
