Locked-In Cash Plays
Borg – Jonah Coleman is the perfect blend of salary ($5300) and matchup this week. The Panthers have allowed the most rushing TDs, 28th in yards per carry allowed, and 30th in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed to RBs.
Betz – It’s really tough to pass on a WR who’s being targeted on over 41% (!) of his routes over the last month in this matchup. With Stafford not pushing the ball down the field and Davante and T Ferg still out, Puka Nacua‘s PPR role is just nutso stuff. He’s not priced up enough.
DraftKings Core Plays
These are the 3-5 players at each position we have mixed in our cash player pool. Based on salaries, late news, and budget constraints, it is guaranteed you will not be able to fit in all of them. But their high floors and team-implied totals make them great plays for the week in both cash & GPPs.
These are simply in order of favorite core players. You obviously won’t be able to fit all in a cash lineup and there are salary tradeoffs for paying up at each position.
Quarterbacks
| DraftKings-QB | BORG | BETZ |
| 1 | Drew Lock | Drew Lock |
| 2 | Patrick Mahomes | Shedeur Sanders |
| 3 | Shedeur Sanders | Patrick Mahomes |
| 4 | Brock Purdy | Brock Purdy |
| 5 | Jayden Daniels | Malik Willis |
We’ve talked at length about how wide open this slate is. The QB pricing and player pool allows you to go a number of directions from punting with Drew Lock or Shedeur Sanders to securing the safety of team totals for Patrick Mahomes or Brock Purdy. In tournaments, the stone min QB options might be worth fading if you think one of the other mobile options (Maye, Daniels) can separate from the pack.
