Week 17 QB Streamers
As the 2017 fantasy football season comes to a close it is important to remember the reason that this article exists. The streaming QB strategy only works because QB is the deepest position in the league. Keep this in mind as you prepare for your 2017 drafts. This depth means you can take a risk at QB and wait until the mid to late rounds because even if you whiff, there will be streaming options on the waiver wire. As always the Footballers will be here every week to help you navigate these streamers to find the best options.
Blake Bortles @ IND (ESPN 52.6%, Yahoo 57%)
Sometimes in fantasy football, you have to risk it to get the biscuit. While Bortles can be volatile, he can also give you games like last week when he hung 300 passing yards and two total TDs on the Titans. This week the BB gun faces the Colts and their 24th ranked passing defense. I expect a shootout in Indianapolis which is always a good thing for fantasy owners.

Joe Flacco @ CIN (ESPN 27.6%, Yahoo 28%)
Mike’s first choice was Tyrod Taylor who has a great matchup against the Jets this week. However, with the firing of Rex Ryan, it appears that Doug Whaley will go with E.J. Manuel at QB. With T-Mobile on the shelf, owners can turn to a staple of the streamer discussion, Joe Flacco. Flacco and the Ravens face a beaten down Cincinnati team in Week 17. There’s a part of me that would want Flacco on my team just to I can be invested in what Steve Smith Sr. is going to do in what could be his last NFL game.
–Mike Wright, @FFHitman
Colin Kaepernick vs SEA (ESPN 33.3%, Yahoo 32%)
Like Mike, Andy’s first choice succumbed to Week 17 shenanigans as rumors swirl that the Giants could rest their starters. This takes Eli Manning out of streamer consideration. Colin Kaepernick is a solid secondary option. Even against a tough Seattle secondary, Kaepernick gives fantasy owners a safe floor with his rushing totals.
