Whether you are fully invested in the streaming strategy or just need a bye week plug ‘n’ play guy, the Footballers are here to help with starting options you can find on the waiver wire. In order to be eligible for this segment, a player must be available in at least 40% of leagues, with a goal of scoring at least 20 fantasy points, which works out to be 200-250 passing yards and 2 TDs depending on the scoring system.  Always remember to check your league’s waiver wire, you may have even better options available to you. Carson Palmer at IND (ESPN 16%, Yahoo 67%)

Without David Johnson, coach Bruce Arians has to put the ball in the hands of the people he trusts. Palmer should be a great option against the Colts defense which looked terrible in Week 1. Palmer still has a nice schedule to start the season and you could do a lot worse in Week 2.

Sam Bradford at TB (ESPN 11%, Yahoo 25%)

After last night’s performance, it seems like Bradford has taken the next step. Now with an improved offensive line, and improved running game with Dalvin Cook, Bradford has time to find talented weapons Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen. His accuracy is there; if he can improve on his TD total, he’ll be great for fantasy. Last night was a great sign.

Tyrod Taylor @CAR (ESPN 16.5%, Yahoo 51%)

The Panthers defense doesn’t scare me off of Tyrod. In a group of “passable” streaming options, Tyrod is the choice here due to the upside he brings.
