Welcome to the Weekly Dynasty Report!
Dynasty Fantasy Football is not for the faint of heart. It requires dedication, commitment, and research throughout the entire year to work towards the ultimate Fantasy Football reward…a Dynasty Championship.
Throughout this season, I’ll be taking a look at the previous week’s games and dissecting them from a Dynasty perspective. If you’re like me and can’t get enough of Dynasty Fantasy Football, this article is for you.

Dynasty Tip Of The Week

This upcoming week is one of the most crucial and pivotal weeks in Dynasty Football.
While there are a few teams in your leagues that have most likely pulled away and locked up potential first-round bye weeks, etc. There are still some monumental matchups that are going to take place this upcoming week.
Playoff seeding will be determined and some teams will be left on the outside looking in…
The Dynasty Tip of the Week is to enjoy this process. It’s fun. Whether you’re a playoff team or not, there’s a lot of fun in conversing with your league-mates and watching people tilt over these matchups and tiebreakers.
Remember that Fantasy Football is fun. We can stress out over playoff seeding or the potential money that’s on the line, but we truly don’t have any control over what happens on the NFL field on Sunday. We can make educated guesses and play the odds, but we aren’t the ones who are out there catching passes or throwing/running the ball. (Thank goodness, am I right?)
Have fun and don’t blow past this week. Enjoy it. In just a few months, we’ll be craving Fantasy Football all over again.
Dynasty Stock Report
Stock Up: Rashaad Penny – Seattle Seahawks, RB
Having Rashaad Penny on your Dynasty rosters has been an adventure this season, hasn’t it?
Every time Penny “flashes”, something happens shortly thereafter to set the hype back to square one.
This may be the time though that things turn around for the young running back.

Penny took over the Seahawks backfield on Sunday as he went for 129 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. Meanwhile, Chris Carson fumbled (recovered) and ran for 26 yards on 8 carries to go with 4 receptions for 31 yards.
Penny outproduced Carson massively and there is now optimism that we may start to see the switch to a more even rotation between the two backs. On a very good Seahawks team, that’s committed to running the ball, this could put Penny into the FLEX consideration for your lineups.
We’ll have to take a wait-and-see approach, but this is good news for those who have held onto Penny in hopes that he can contribute to your Dynasty lineups. You may have just been given a good running back option for your playoff push…
Stock Down: Saquon Barkley – New York Giants, RB
Is Saquon Barkley broken?
There’s a possibility that Barkley is still recovering from his injury that he sustained early on this season, but Barkley has not looked anywhere close to the type of player that we expected him to be this season.
Here are Saquon Barkley's stats over his last three games:

88 rushing yards

Barkley is an incredible running back, but there has to be something else going on here that is hindering his production on the field. If Barkley is dealing with a nagging injury, this could mean that his value is as low as it will ever be…people are going to be concerned that Barkley’s production last season came only because of Eli Manning.
If your Dynasty trade deadline hasn’t passed yet, this is probably your best chance to buy Barkley. Let’s hope that this is all just due to a minor injury and we see Barkley bounce back to his RB1 self here soon.
Stock Up: Ryan Tannehill – Tennessee Titans, QB
If you’ve been playing Fantasy Football for a few years now, you may have an idea of who Tannehill is as a Fantasy QB etched into your mind.
Whatever it is, erase it. Tannehill’s been outstanding for Fantasy Football recently…

Tannehill is playing extremely well within the Titans scheme and it’s leading to some dominant production for Fantasy Football. He may be playing so well that he plays his way into another contract with the Titans, which would be great for Dynasty owners.
In 1QB leagues, there’s a good possibility that Tannehill is on your waiver wire. With how well he’s been playing recently and his upcoming schedule, Tannehill should be in consideration for your Dynasty starting QB.
Stock Down: Curtis Samuel – Carolina Panthers, WR
For the past few years, we’ve been waiting in expectation for the breakout of Curtis Samuel.
He was a 2nd round pick back in 2017 and has shown flashes at times of his talent and breakaway speed. However, it just has never led to consistent production for Fantasy Football.
With a poor performance again on Sunday (1 reception for 9 yards on 4 targets), Samuel just can’t get anything going with Kyle Allen as his QB.
Samuel’s Dynasty stock should remain down until he can prove that he can put up consistent fantasy production week after week.
Stock Up: Sam Darnold – New York Jets, QB
In the surprise of the weekend, the New York Jets clobbered the playoff-bound Oakland Raiders, 34-3.
This was on the back of an outstanding game from Sam Darnold, which led to a Top 5 Fantasy QB finish on the week.
Sam Darnold is ridiculous.
Look at this throw.
Drops it over the cornerback and in front of the safety. Moving left. Throwing right. Great touch & precision.
He probably should have tucked it in and ran it… but then we would have never seen this.

Darnold and the Jets are suddenly on a roll and this offense is clicking. It’s awesome to see Darnold playing so well in his second season and he’s becoming a valuable fantasy asset.
Looks like Darnold’s Dynasty stock is taking off like a…well, a jet.
BONUS: Draft Prospect To Watch
The Alabama Crimson Tide lost star QB, Tua Tagovailoa, to a devastating injury a couple of weeks ago and they now are going to have to rely on star running back, Najee Harris.
The Crimson Tide are currently on the outside looking in on a College Football Playoff berth and they’re going to need Harris to carry the load for them in this next game.
This Saturday, Harris goes up against a tough defense in Auburn and his skills will be put to the test. Harris is a tough back who is able to power his way through defenders but also possesses an elusiveness that is unmatched at his size. Add in his elite hands in the receiving game and you have a potential 3-down back in the NFL.

Harris has taken a huge step from last year to this year and I’m looking forward to seeing how he responds to the added responsibility. Pay attention to #22.
