Welcome back to the weekly Targets Per Route Run Report, and thanks for making it part of your weekly prep. Let’s look back on the games just played, and try to see where that points us for Week 6 and beyond as the bye weeks are in full swing.

Quick refresher: TPRR = targets ÷ routes run. It’s an on-field efficiency signal that often leads production by a week or two. Throughout this series, if you see a percentage after a player’s name, that is his TPRR unless otherwise indicated.

As a general guideline, ~20% is considered a baseline; 25–30% is excellent, and anything above 30% is elite territory.

Week 5 – Big 3 Reactions

  • Stefon Diggs (52.2%)Diggs followed up Week 4 with an even stronger showing against his old teammates in Buffalo, garnering 12 targets on 23 routes. The fact that Diggs has been relevant without scoring a TD yet is an encouraging sign. That’s the good news. While Drake Maye is playing well, the Patriots’ offense isn’t breaking any offensive records, and it would be nice to see Diggs consistently on the field for more than half the offensive snaps.
  • Is Ryan Flournoy for real? Flournoy saw a big jump in his playing time in Week 5, with his snap share increasing to 57%. Dak Prescott is playing his best football in years, and the Cowboys will need to put up big numbers to stay competitive. Flourney could be in the perfect situation while CeeDee Lamb is on the mend and defenses zero in on George PickensJake Ferguson‘s team-best 40% TPRR in Week 5 is the potential fly in the ointment.
  • Ladd McConkey (19% TPRR) is a conundrum. Ladd finally scored in Week 5, giving a moment of relief to managers around the world. However, the Chargers’ offense is in trouble, and it is difficult to rely on McConkey when his TPRR is hovering under 20%.
  • It was probably too soon to put our chips on Chris Godwin (12%TPRR) so soon. Tampa Bay’s offense has been humming without the need to lean on him, so it’s better to wait and see with Godwin if you can afford the bench space.

 The Season So Far

  • Joe Flacco has been traded to the Bengals and should start Week 6 in place of the woeful Jake Browning. Flacco has shown a devil-may-care propensity to unleash it under center. This should provide a better floor for Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins moving forward, but that’s not saying much.
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Davante Adams (17) celebrates his touchdown against the Tennessee Titans during the fourth quarter at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn., Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025.

  • I’m treating Davante Adams as a top-12 WR until further notice. Matthew Stafford will continue to pepper Nacua and Adams with targets as long as he’s on the field, and both should have plenty of opportunities against Baltimore and Jacksonville in Weeks 6 and 7.
  • Tetairoa McMillan‘s TPRR has ping-ponged this season, but he looks poised to break out if Bryce Young can consistently bring his play up to a high level. King Tet has eight or more targets in every game this season, and Dallas presents a perfect chance for the breakout. Get him now while you can.
