NFL Week 3 Weather Conditions (Fantasy Football)
Week 2 was a bit of a mess. After a pleasant Week 1, we all got a reminder about who is in charge (Mother Nature). Between rain, wind, and scorching heat, there was a wide variety of elements that messed up our fantasy production. Hopefully your team escaped all that chaos with a win!
We have quite a slate of outdoor games this week, including one in Brazil, so we’ve got no time to waste.

Sunday Early Afternoon Games
Los Angeles Chargers @ Buffalo Bills
LOW impact. Overall, it will be a nice day in Buffalo. Partly cloudy, no rain, and temperatures in the upper-60s. The winds will be a little stronger, with sustained speeds in the low teens and occasional gusts to the low-20s. It’s not enough to recommend swapping out any starters, but keep an eye on the winds prior to kick-off.
Carolina Panthers @ Cleveland Browns
LOW impact. Sunny skies, winds in the high single digits, no rain, and temperatures in the low 70s? We’ll take those days! The coveted “GOOD WEATHER GAME OF THE WEEK” is right here. I gotta give it to Cleveland before the winter comes. Start everyone you normally would.
Kansas City Chiefs @ Miami Dolphins
LOW impact. A beautiful day shaping up in Miami for Sunday. Mostly sunny skies, with light winds, and temperatures in the mid-80s. No issues here.
Tennessee Titans @ New York Giants
HIGH impact. This is going to be an ugly game. Moderate persistent rain will linger throughout the game. Winds will be in the low-20s, with gusts into the upper-30s. These types of conditions will severely impact the QBs, WRs, TEs, and Kickers. The run game will likely see most of the action, so if you wanted to be bold and roll out Cam Skattebo or Tony Pollard, I wouldn’t blame you. Approach all other players with caution (may be a good opportunity for a streaming defense here).
Cincinnati Bengals @ Pittsburgh Steelers
LOW impact. Expect mostly cloudy skies, winds in the low teens, and temperatures in the upper-60s. Overall, a very nice day for football. Start all your usual players.
Seattle Seahawks @ Washington Commanders
HIGH impact. This will be similar, but not quite as bad, as the game between the Titans and Giants. Expect some rain showers, accompanied by some gusty winds. Sustained wind speeds will be in the mid-teens, with gusts up to the mid-20s. Temperatures will be in the mid-60s. Temper your expectations for all QBs and WRs. I wouldn’t bench any studs (looking at you, JSN), but it will be an uphill battle for points due to these conditions. The run game for both teams will likely be the focus.
New England Patriots @ Jacksonville Jaguars
LOW impact. Another great afternoon for weather in Florida. Mostly sunny skies, temperatures in the mid-80s, and light winds. No issues here; start all your studs.

Arizona Cardinals @ San Francisco 49ers
LOW impact. Partly cloudy skies, light winds, and temperatures in the mid-70s. No issues; start all your usual players.
Baltimore Ravens @ Dallas Cowboys
LOW impact. If you have ever wondered what the weather is like in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, this time of year, you are in luck! Good news for us: it looks great. Temperatures will be in the mid-70s, winds will be in the single digits, and there is only a very small chance of rain (10%). No issues with the weather here.
Minnesota Vikings @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
LOW impact. Rounding out our Florida trio of games is another great game. Partly cloudy skies, with temperatures in the upper-80s. Winds will be in the single digits. No weather issues here; let’s all thank the state of Florida for cooperating this weekend.
Sunday Night Game
Los Angeles Rams @ Denver Broncos
MEDIUM impact. Winds will be the only concern during the game. Wind speeds will be in the low teens, with gusts up to the high teens. Those speeds could impact the deep ball and the kicking game. Aside from the winds, no rain is expected, and temperatures will be in the mid-60s.
Monday Night Game
Philadelphia Eagles @ Chicago Bears
LOW impact. We will be wrapping up the football weekend with a lovely night in Chicago. Mostly clear skies, light winds, and temperatures in the upper-50s. Enjoy the game!
