My strategy would be to grab a running back with my first pick as you need to roster two and there are only four games this weekend. There are a solid five or six running backs to choose from, but I expect they’ll fly off the board in the first round. You don’t want to be stuck with Tevin Coleman and Jonathan Stewart as your two running backs, because you went QB / WR¬† to start. Grab a solid running back and then a QB if you are playing in a larger contest than three or four contestants. You don’t want to be stuck with Tyrod Taylor, Marcus Mariota or Blake Bortles. It’s not the end of the world if you have one of those QB’s, but it would be nice to avoid those three if you could.

Rankings for this weekend:

  1. Todd Gurley
  2. Leonard Fournette
  3. Alvin Kamara
  4. Kareem Hunt
  5. Mark Ingram
  6. Michael Thomas
  7. Derrick Henry
  8. Julio Jones
  9. Devonta Freeman
  10. Alex Smith
  11. Travis Kelce
  12. Tyreek Hill
  13. Christian McCaffrey
  14. Drew Brees
  15. Jared Goff
  16. Cam Newton
  17. Cooper Kupp – leads the team in red zone targets, third overall in the league.

  19. Greg Olsen
  20. Mohamed Sanu
  21. Sammy Watkins
  22. Ted Ginn
  23. Rishard Matthews
  24. LeSean McCoy – this is a major risk, but if you go RB/QB/WR and finish with Shady, that’s not bad!

  27. Devin Funchess
  28. Tevin Coleman
  29. Delanie Walker
  30. Charles Clay
