Patrick Mahomes at Cleveland $7,100
Mahomes ranks first in DK points per game at the QB position on the main slate with an absurd 30.5 points per game. He ranks fourth in passing yards per game (315.8) and first in TD passes (26). Mahomes should always be the first QB you consider in tournaments until factors tell us otherwise. And this week isn’t an insane stay-away matchup against a Browns defense that ranks 26th in passing yards allowed per game.
Deshaun Watson at Denver $6,300
Returning from a 2017 torn ACL, I always expected Watson to take some time to get back to elite form this season. It looks like he’s getting closer after throwing five TD passes last week against the Dolphins. Playing on the road in Denver, look for Watson to have a low ownership percentage this week. A player with his kind of ceiling should always be considered in tournaments in situations like this.
