Jared Goff vs. Green Bay $6,000
Goff is the QB of one of, if not the best, offenses in the league and that should never go ignored, especially this week with Goff playing at home in the best fantasy game of Week 8. This Packers at Rams game boasts the highest Over/Under (56.5) of the week. Plus, Goff has been good this season. He ranks eighth in the NFL in passing yards per game and leads a Rams team that ranks second in yards per game and third in points per game. The matchup isn’t unbeatable either as Green Bay ranks middle of the pack – 15th – in Pass DVOA.
Aaron Rodgers at Los Angeles Rams $6,400
Rodgers is the best NFL player I’ve ever seen and he gets to play in the best fantasy game of the entire week this Sunday in a contest with a current 56.5 point Over/Under. Rodgers ranks fourth in the league in passing yards per game and leads a Packers team that ranks fourth in yards per game. Although the Rams defense looks solid on paper – rankings of ninth in passing yards allowed per game and seventh in Pass DVOA – they’ve shown kinks in their armor this year in the secondary. Rodgers will absolutely find ways to exploit this matchup, especially with his pass-catchers getting healthier.
Ben Roethlisberger vs. Cleveland $6,100
This $6,100 price is one I want to take advantage of. Big Ben ranks second in passing yards per game and leads a Steelers team that ranks fifth in yards per game and fifth in points per game. Coming off the bye week, the Steelers get to play at home against a Browns defense that ranks 26th in passing yards allowed per game. Cleveland does rank #1 overall in Pass DVOA. However, Roethlisberger and the Steelers passing game is one of the best in the league. They’ll find success on Sunday as their 29.5 point Over/Under (Third highest of the week) indicates.
