Injuries and players missing time for other reasons are always a big deal in fantasy football but even more so in DFS where one player’s issues can completely alter an entire game and the next man up mantra becomes vital due to the salary cap nature of DFS. Thus, it’s important to stay on top of all the injury and suspension news before locking in your DFS lineups.

Editor’s note: DFS Pass buyers and #FootClan members will receive a “Gameday Alerts” email, one hour before the main kickoff on Sunday and Ben will be on Periscope at 11:30 AM ET.

Here are the most relevant players on the main slate (If you’re looking for injury news for the primetime slate, check out the primetime slate article) in danger of missing time or returning to action in Week 8:

Green Bay Packers @ Los Angeles Rams – 4:25pm ET

IN for the Packers: Geronimo Allison
Questionable for the Packers: Randall Cobb
Upgrade: Davante Adams, Geronimo Allison, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Jimmy Graham
This is the best fantasy game of the week as the Over/Under of 56.5 points indicates. We want exposure to this game and Cobb’s continued questionable designation makes it easy to look elsewhere. Adams is the locked in stud who ranks third in the league in targets per game (11.8). But if you’re looking to save some salary, Allison returns this week and has seen 7.3 targets per game on the year. Valdes-Scantling’s outlook is dependent on Cobb’s status but would be a solid play if Cobb sits. Vales-Scantling scored a TD in Week 5 and topped 100 yards receiving in Week 6.

Doubtful for the Rams: Cooper Kupp
Upgrade: Robert Woods, Brandin Cooks, and Josh Reynolds
It looks like Kupp will miss this game and that is huge news. The Rams offense is elite and they are playing at home in the best fantasy game of the weekend. Thus, we absolutely want to take advantage of this situation. Woods and Cooks immediately look like two of the best WR plays of Week 8. Woods leads the Rams in targets (58), receptions (41), and receiving yards (602) and saw an extremely healthy 29.17% team target share last week without Kupp. Cooks has home-run hitting upside and this is the kind of favorable fantasy game that could unlock his potential.
