Stacks are correlation plays that are ideal in tournaments because they help your lineup differentiate from the crowd while simultaneously putting more upside in your lineup’s range of outcomes. But stacks can absolutely be considered in cash as well if you feel the matchup is favorable enough. Stacks should always be in consideration and here are some of my favorites this week:
Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown
The Steelers are fighting for their playoff lives and with a continued questionable Running Back situation, that means it’s time for Big Ben to play the role of Super Hero once again. He’ll get to do so at home against a Bengals defense that ranks 30th in passing yards allowed per game and 28th in Pass DVOA. Why can we count on Roethlisberger? He’s been incredible all year as he ranks tied for fourth in Pass TDs and first in passing yards per game and leads a Steelers team that ranks fourth in yards per game and fourth in points per game. Stack Big Ben with Antonio Brown, who turned an insane 19 targets into 14 receptions for 185 yards and 2 TDs last week. Brown ranks second in the league in targets per game, tied for seventh in receptions, ninth in receiving yards, and first in TD receptions.
