Week 15 DFS Fades

Drew Brees vs NYJ

Brees just isn’t the same QB we’ve seen in the past. He has one game this season with three passing touchdowns, and it came all the way back in Week 3. He had eight games with more than two passing touchdowns last season, and he was second last year in red zone passing attempts with 112. He has 66 this season with three games to go. The defense is much better, and they have a run game. They are also 16 point home favorites in this game, and despite New Orleans having the highest team total of the week, Brees is a fade in cash. They will likely continue to run the ball, and may get a few points off turnovers.

Alex Smith vs LAC

Do you really want to roll out Alex Smith against this Chargers defense? Aside from the Jags, this is the best defense going right now. Smith has had games with 12, 14, and 9 fantasy points in three of is his last four games. He has failed to top 15 points in five of his last eight games. The Chargers have allowed the second-fewest points in the league, they are fifth in sacks, third in picks, and fifth in return TDs.
