Thursday Night DraftKings Showdown: Week 9

The 49ers visit the Cardinals to kick off Week 9. I’ll be bringing this Thursday night preview each week breaking down this single-game slate for DraftKings contests as part of the Footballers’ DFS Pass.

These undefeated 49ers are freaking fun man. And as 9.5 point favorites in this one against a 3-4-1 banged-up Cardinals team, San Francisco projects to keep it rolling. The Cardinals offense will be forced to be one-dimensional in this game against a solid 49ers run defense with David Johnson and Chase Edmonds both projected to miss.

Meanwhile, San Francisco’s offense won’t face the same struggles. Their elite running game has their offense ranked third in points per game and sixth in yards per game and they get to attack a Cardinals defense that ranks 27th in Pass DVOA, 26th in Run DVOA, 29th in points per game allowed, and 29th in yards per game allowed.

The 49ers will role once again and our process should lead us towards their Defense and Robbie Gould.
