NFL DFS Tournament Takes: Week 1 (Fantasy Footballl)
Footclan, it is an absolute honor and privilege to be able to share my tournament thoughts with you on a weekly basis this season. My goal is to give you an extra resource to use when creating your lineups. I usually play 1 or 2 hand-built lineups every week and I’ve had much success in my career playing that way.
In Week 3 of the 2021 NFL season, I won the Milly Maker and several other 6 figure contests on DraftKings. I’ve also been to five live finals where I have competed against some of the best players in the industry. I’m so excited to be able to help you gain an advantage, and win some big money this year!
Each week I’ll discuss my favorite stacks to utilize in large-field tournaments, ways to gain leverage on the field, and any other slate-specific thoughts.
Week 1 is always the toughest to predict, so I think you can get as creative as you’d like. However, there are several games most people would like exposure to, with one that stands out as the most popular.
Game of the Week – Dolphins @ Chargers
With the highest projected total on the entire slate, this game should garner the most attention on Sunday, and rightfully so. Both teams have the firepower and can go back and forth the entire game. The Chargers made a couple of moves this offseason that should help bolster the passing game under Justin Herbert. First, they hired Kellen Moore, formerly of the Dallas Cowboys, as their offensive coordinator. Then, they went out and spent a first-round pick on WR Quentin Johnston out of TCU. The Dolphins look mostly the same on offense so you can bank on Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle being used heavily on Sunday.
