NFL DFS FanDuel Thanksgiving Day Picks (Fantasy Football)
For the Thanksgiving Day Slate, Betz and I broke down this 3-game slate on the Fantasy Footballers DFS & Betting podcast.
I’m going to take some of our analysis a step further to give you my preferred cash and GPP picks. The one caveat I will give is that with so much variance in this 3-game slate, I lean towards playing more tournament-style contests. Everyone is going to be rostering certain players so getting weird is part of the fun. Take the cash game plays as good chalk to eat and consider the GPP plays as an opportunity to get different and gain leverage. Utilizing 4 or more players from the same game is how you become overweight compared to the field.
Quarterbacks
CASH
- Dak Prescott ($8500)- The context of this slate and the matchup says he is far and away the best QB play. The Commanders made Tommy DeVito look like an All-Pro on Sunday and on the season, they rank 31st in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed to QBs. You know how good Dak is playing averaging 8.7 yards per attempt and a 71% completion rate since Week 6.
- Brock Purdy ($7700)- He is on absolute fire right now leading the NFL in QBR, Passer Rating, and EPA per pass attempt. Traveling on the road to Seattle isn’t a picnic but teams are finding success attacking them through the air. The Seahawks are seeing 37.4 pass attempts per game (5th most in the NFL) and as a TD favorite on Thanksgiving evening, you get to relax with a full belly feeling purdy good about your prospects.
