NFL DFS DraftKings GPP Picks: Week 7 (Fantasy Football)
For this article, I’ll be highlighting plays that I believe have upside for large field GPPs at reduced roster percentages, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our GPP lineups as well. In fact, most of the best tournament lineups feature a combination of high-rostered and lower-rostered plays. When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings to identify plays that have a solid projection yet may be undervalued by the field. To compete in GPPs, we’ll want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection. Quarterback
Patrick Mahomes vs LV | $7,000
Patty Mahomes is reminding us why he is one of the best talents in the league and is pulling a fantasy pace like he did in 2018 (where he finished with 50 TDs). The main difference is that he’s doing it with his legs, not his arm. His four rushing TDs already match a career high, and that’s in only six games. With 222 yards on the ground (averaging 6.3 carries per game), he is on pace for 629 yards on the ground, which would shatter his career high of 389 in 2023. That running baseline creates a floor for us, with the potential for multiple passing TDs, like Week 4 (four) and 6 (three) for ceiling games. He’s had a 3x PP$ or better in five-out-of-six games this year (and four with 4x or better), and now he gets the Raiders, who have given up the third most rushing TDs in the league and rank 20th in INT% at only 1.35% of plays.
