NFL DFS DraftKings GPP Picks: Week 3 (Fantasy Football)
For the purposes of this article, I’ll be highlighting plays that I believe have upside at reduced roster percentages, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our GPP lineups as well. For my full breakdown on DraftKings for Week 3 cash games, be sure to check out my DraftKings cash picks here.
When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings in order to identify plays who have a solid projection yet may be undervalued by the field. In order to compete in GPPs, we’ll want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays in order to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection. For more on how to use roster percentages and build strong GPP lineups, be sure to check out this episode of the DFS Podcast.
Quarterback
Justin Herbert $7,500 @ MIN
The Vikings/Chargers game is by far the top game environment on the slate, and because he’s cheaper, Kirk Cousins is going to be far more popular than Herbert. If you want to flip the build this week, you can stack up the Chargers side as leverage off Josh Kelley and Cousins. Through two games, Herbert is 11th in EPA and has the fifth-highest success rate. Minnesota has really struggled to get after the passer as well, ranking 25th in pressure rate. I do have some fears that the Vikings invite LA to run the ball (as they did to Philly in Week 2), but we’re getting a big time roster percentage discount to ease some of those concerns.
