NFL DFS DraftKings GPP Picks: Week 3 (Fantasy Football)
For the purposes of this article, I’ll be highlighting plays that I believe have a solid range of outcomes at reduced roster percentage, but that doesn’t mean we can’t sprinkle in some cash plays into our lineup as well. For my full breakdown on DraftKings for Week 3 cash games, be sure to check out my DraftKings cash picks here.
When building your GPP lineups, be sure to reference our Roster Percentage Report as well as our DFS Rankings in order to identify plays that have a solid projection yet may be undervalued by the field. In order to compete in GPPs, we’ll want to utilize a combination of cash plays and GPP plays in order to build solid lineups without sacrificing too much in the way of projection. For more on how to use roster percentages and build strong GPP lineups, be sure to check out this episode of the DFS Podcast.

Patrick Mahomes $7,900
Priced just $300 cheaper than Josh Allen and $300 more than Jalen Hurts, I suspect we’ll see next to no roster percentage for Mahomes. The Chiefs carry the slate’s 3rd highest team total at 28 points, and this is a sneaky good spot for Mahomes, who has made DC Gus Bradley look silly whenever he’s tried to game plan to stop him with his Cover 3 scheme. Bradley is the first-year DC for the Colts and was previously with the Raiders (2021) and Chargers (2018-2020). He’s faced Bradley’s teams 7 times in his career as a starter. In those games, he averages a 65% completion rate, 7.1 yards per attempt, and a 17:2 TD-to-INT ratio. Mahomes has also been white hot in the month of September in his career. Including Weeks 1 and 2, Mahomes has averaged 322.6 passing yards and 3.2 passing TD per game in September starts. Quarterbacking the team who ranks #2 in pass rate over expectation, Mahomes’ ceiling is massive this week.
