Locked-In Cash Plays

Borg – What a wild place to be where saying “Michael Wilson is my cash game lock” is absurdly obvious. The Cardinals 3rd year WR leads the team in target share (27%) over the last three weeks and with the news of Marvin Harrison Jr. out, there is no reason to overthink this. On FanDuel ($5700), I could not fathom building a cash game lineup without him.

Betz – James Cook got paid in the off-season, and the Bills responded in a big way, loading him up with a career-high 21.7 total opportunities per game so far this year. With a never-ending rotation at WR, Jimbo is the identity of this offense. He’s now at home against a hapless Bengals rush defense in slate’s highest game total. I don’t want to overthink this one, so I’ll have Cook on both sites.

DraftKings Core Plays

These are the 3-5 players at each position we have mixed in our cash player pool. Based on salaries, late news, and budget constraints, it is guaranteed you will not be able to fit in all of them. But their high floors and team-implied totals make them great plays for the week in both cash & GPPs.

These are simply in order of favorite core players. You obviously won’t be able to fit all in a cash lineup and there are salary tradeoffs for paying up at each position.

As has been the case for the vast majority of the season due to tight pricing on DK, it’s likely another spend down week at QB for cash games, though we wouldn’t fault anyone for prioritizing the safety of Josh Allen at home against the Bengals in the slate’s highest total game. Our top two looks this week in the cheaper range are Lawrence against a Sauce Gardner-less Colts team and Jacoby, who should be dropping back over and over again in a negative game script against the Rams. We don’t view either as a slam dunk play and can see paths to failure, so we’re open to some other ideas in GPPs.
