Locked-In Cash Plays
Borg – He’s the cover boy for a reason. Brandon Aiyuk is now the obvious top dog in San Francisco with Deebo out and George Kittle also now officially out. Don’t overthink this. Your H2H opponents will be coming to this street fight with both Aiyuk and Mason so their is little to gain in cash games by trying to get cute. Expect their roster percentages in Double Ups to be 75+ %. They should be at 100%. Even with the Rams defense obviously preparing for Aiyuk, don’t let silly narratives distract you. Aiyuk at $6,200 on DraftKings was a steal already.
Betz – Jordan Mason is third in the NFL in total touches and now the offense is down George Kittle in addition to Deebo Samuel and CMC. Kyle Shanahan has no choice but to feed Mason 18+ touches in a positive game script against a Rams team that’s been decimated by injury.
DraftKings Core Plays
These are the 3-5 players at each position we have mixed in our cash player pool. Based on salaries, late news, and budget constraints, it is guaranteed you will not be able to fit in all of them. But their high floors and team-implied totals make them great plays for the week in both cash & GPPs.
These are simply in order of favorite core players. You obviously won’t be able to fit all in a cash lineup and there are salary tradeoffs for paying up at each position.
| DraftKings-QB | BORG | BETZ |
| 1 | Jalen Hurts | Jalen Hurts |
| 2 | Kyler Murray | Kyler Murray |
| 3 | Dak Prescott | Geno Smith |
| 4 | Geno Smith | Derek Carr |
| 5 | Derek Carr | Dak Prescott |
Pay up son! We like the high-priced, mobile options this week in cash. Paying up for the safety is doable knowing we have some value at the RB position this week. Hurts is the PHI offense so you can soak up so much production in a game that is sitting at a 4.25 in our GPS scores. Dak is solid at his price point if you think Dallas gets back on track at home. Derek Carr and Geno Smith both will show up as extreme points per dollar values but we do have some fears of those imploding because… well… we’ve been around the block with these two QBs.
In tournaments, consider how much roster percentage your stacks are eating up and what they have to do to pay off in large fields. For example, a Hurts + DeVonta Smith stack is a combined salary of $14,200. In order for them to 4x their salary, they need 56.8 combined DK points. A Dak + CD stack needs 61.6. A Carr + Olave stack only needs 48… Sounds easy right? Well, what if I told you (sorry, the 30-for-30 voice lives rent free in my mind) Carr + Olave have surpassed that just ONCE in 18 games played together? They’ve hit 40+ just three times.
