NFL DFS Best Plays for Week 12 (Fantasy Football)
Each week we will review some of the content found in the DFS Pass and discuss some of our most confident plays heading into Sunday. Locked-In Cash Plays
Borg – Locking in Trey McBride yet again in cash feels too easy. At $6,800, he projects better than a lot of the WRs in that range. The last five games have been the best 5-game stretch of any TE over the last five years. The field is going to play him so are you really going to fade a TE in cash that 60+ % of Double-Ups will be playing that churned out 30+ DK points in back-to-back weeks?
Betz – I view Chase Brown as a priority cash game play this week on both sites. No, the matchup is not great against the Pats, but without Samaje Perine over the last two weeks, he’s seen 25 and 26 total opportunities. That workload should be priced well above $7K, so despite the poor matchup against a great New England rush defense, he’s in there for me.
DraftKings Core Plays
These are the 3-5 players at each position we have mixed in our cash player pool. Based on salaries, late news, and budget constraints, it is guaranteed you will not be able to fit in all of them. But their high floors and team-implied totals make them great plays for the week in both cash & GPPs.
These are simply in order of favorite core players. You obviously won’t be able to fit all in a cash lineup and there are salary tradeoffs for paying up at each position.

It’s once again a very tightly priced slate on DK, making spending down at QB a popular decision this week for most cash builds. We’ve got Jacoby Brissett $5,300 atop our preferred plays list just given the pass volume we’ve seen in recent weeks since he took over for Kyler. We do think some regression could hit sometime soon after a 90th percentile outcome last week. That said, for cash games, we don’t mind taking the projected pass volume against a pass funnel Jaguars defense. In GPPs, flipping the build and spending up a bit at QB is a way to get off the “chalk” builds.
