DraftKings Cash Picks for Week 1
The 2020 season is finally upon us and a 12-game Week 1 slate welcomes us back with socially distanced open arms. Here are my favorite plays for DraftKings Week 1 Cash contests:
Quarterback
Lamar Jackson vs. Cleveland Browns $8,100
The 2019 most valuable player heads into Week 1 as the most valuable quarterback, pricewise, and it’s not even close. At $8,100, Lamar Jackson is $1,100 more than the second-most expensive option on the slate (Russell Wilson, $7,000). Despite the unfavorable price tag, there’s a lot of reasons to pay up for him in your cash lineups. Jackson faces a Browns defense that ranks 30th in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. Additionally, the Browns rank 27th in schedule-adjusted fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs, which further supports Jackson’s upside as a the dual-threat quarterback. Jackson is a solid Week 1 play, and an even better one if you find a way to pair him with Marquise Brown or Mark Andrews in your lineups. The Ravens are 8-point favorites with an implied point total of 28.25 points.
