Not sure what the NFL schedule makers were thinking when they scheduled Atlanta vs. Carolina part deux in Week 10. These teams just met in Week 8, just 11 days ago. In that game, the game went bonkers thanks to a missed extra point to send the game into OT. Looking at box score results from that game in the Falcons’ dome could be fool’s gold. On the year, both teams rank bottom five in plays per game, but that game between these NFC South foes totaled 140 plays. Expecting anything similar is likely to lead to TNF sadness when it comes to showdown lineups, especially considering Hurricane Nicole.
