It was a wet, wild and crazy Week 11 in the NFL.  These players are the ones who successfully navigated the bad weather and rash of injuries to get owners a much-needed win as the fantasy playoffs draw near.  All 3 Footballers were on hand to break down these Fantasy Stud Muffins on the podcast as well as the Duds.

Quarterbacks

Tom Brady @ SF
-280 passing yards, 4 TDs, 12 rushing yards
If you didn’t see this one coming, well, that’s an unfortunate mindset you’ve got there.

Aaron Rodgers @ WAS
351 passing yards, 3 TDs, 33 rushing yards
Rodgers and Cousins took turns marching up and down the field when they had the wind at their backs in D.C.

Kirk Cousins vs GB
-375 passing yards, 3 TDs
HOW DO YOU LIKE ME NOW?!

Russell Wilson vs PHI
272 passing yards, TD, 1 reception, 15 receiving yards, TD
It was very wet on the west coast, but a gadget play in which Wilson caught a TD pass from Doug Baldwin salvaged what was a mediocre performance.

Marcus Mariota @ IND
-290 passing yards, 2 TDs, 29 rushing yards
The Titans got in a hole early, so Mariota had some digging to do.

Running Backs

Robert Kelley vs GB
24 carries, 137 rushing yards, 3 TDs
Fat Rob has taken Matt Jones’ lunch money.  He’s not giving it back.

David Johnson @ MIN
22 carries, 103 rushing yards, TD, 7 receptions, 57 receiving yards, TD
On the road against the Vikings Defense? David Johnson don’t care. David Johnson just takes what he wants.

Le’Veon Bell @ CLE
-28 carries, 146 rushing yards, TD, 8 receptions, 55 receiving yards
The Steelers methodically moved the ball on the Browns.  Nothing fancy here.

Rashad Jennings vs CHI
-21 carries, 85 rushing yards, TD, 5 receptions, 44 receiving yards
The veteran has quietly put together a few solid weeks in a row.  The emergence of Paul Perkins seems to be doing nothing more than keeping Jennings fresh.  He should keep it rolling against Cleveland next week.

Wide Receivers

Dez Bryant vs BAL
6 receptions, 80 receiving yards, 2 TDs, 8 targets
Dez has never been a huge volume guy and this team is moving the ball at will.  He’s earning a spot back inside the circle of trust.

Pierre Garçon vs GB
6 receptions, 116 receiving yards, TD, 7 targets
Hail to the Redskins!

Steve Smith Sr. @ DAL
-8 receptions, 99 receiving yards, TD, 9 targets
Congrats on career reception #1,000!  Triple S is just the 14th player in NFL history to reach this milestone.

Julian Edelman @ SF
-8 receptions, 77 receiving yards, TD, 17 targets, 12 rushing yards
Julian Edelman did his best Mike Evans impression.  17 targets?!

Doug Baldwin vs PHI
4 receptions, 104 receiving yards, 5 targets, 15 passing yards, TD
100 yards is nothing to shake a stick at, but the passing TD sure buoyed his fantasy total.

DeVante Parker @ LA
8 receptions, 79 receiving yards, TD, 10 targets
Ryan Tannehill was making Jared Goff look like a competent QB.  It’s a miracle Parker managed to do anything.

Malcolm Mitchell @ SF
-4 receptions, 98 receiving yards, TD, 5 targets
Exciting young player for New England, but do not chase these points.  Most of his production came on one busted play.  The San Francisco defense is good for a few of those each week.

Jamison Crowder vs GB
-3 receptions, 102 receiving yards, TD, 3 targets
For what it’s worth, he was also tackled on the one-yard-line.

Rishard Matthews @ IND
-9 receptions, 122 receiving yards, 13 targets
Matthews has been the guy in this passing attack more weeks than not, though I still worry about consistency.

Tight Ends

Jared Cook @ WAS
6 receptions, 105 receiving yards, TD, 11 targets
“Everyone will add Jared Cook this week. Everyone will be disappointed by Jared Cook next week.” -Jamey Eisenberg.

Eric Ebron vs JAX
-3 receptions, 70 receiving yards, 5 targets, rushing TD
The game flow, defense, and special teams play in this game meant that the Lions offense spent much of the first half on the sidelines.  Ebron’s late TD made up for the slow start.

Travis Kelce vs TB
-7 receptions, 108 receiving yards, 9 targets
Kelce went down early with what looked like a painful knee injury, but he quickly returned and put up a nice yardage day.

Defense/Special Teams

Steelers @ CLE
9 PA, 8 sacks, INT
Start the Giants defense next week.

Vikings @ AZ
24 PA, 4 sacks, 2 INTs, INT ret TD, Kick ret TD
The Vikings had two 100-yard returns for TDs in this game, one INT from Xavier Rhodes and a Cordarrelle Patterson kick return.

Tim Hightower @ CAR
12 carries, 69 rushing yards, 8 receptions, 57 receiving yards

James Starks @ WAS
9 carries, 25 rushing yards, 5 receptions, 46 receiving yards, TD

Todd Gurley vs MIA
20 carries, 76 rushing yards, TD
