Depending on your league format, there are only 3 or 4 remaining weeks remaining in the fantasy football regular season.  Now more than ever it is important to slow down and cherish our Fantasy Stud Muffins while we have them.  The Footballers commemorate the studs from the previous week each Monday on the podcast.

Quarterbacks

Marcus Mariota vs GB
-295 passing yards, 4 TDs, 8 rushing yards
Mariota now has 3 or more TDs in each of  his last 4 games.

Ben Roethlisberger vs DAL
408 passing yards, 3 TDs
Ladies and Gentlemen, Ben Roethlisberger at home.

Russell Wilson @ NE
348 passing yards, 3 TDs, 6 rushing yards
This same time last year, Rushel Wilshen started his torrid stretch.

Aaron Rodgers @ TEN
-271 passing yards, 2 TDs, 2 INTs, 27 rushing yards, rushing TD
The Packers are only going to go as far as Mr. Rodgers can carry them.  This team cannot run the ball to save their division.

Joe Flacco vs CLE
-296 passing yards, 3 TDs, 2 INTs
Start your QBs against the Cleveland Browns.

Drew Brees vs DEN
303 passing yards, 3 TDs, 2 INTs
Something had to give.  Brees is great indoors and the Broncos are a top passing defense.  Brees got the best of them in this one, but the Broncos special teams had the last laugh.

Cam Newton vs KC
-261 passing yards, TD, INT, 54 rushing yards, rushing TD
Cam set the franchise record for rushing TDs, so at least you have that Panthers fans.

Running Backs

Ezekiel Elliott @ PIT
-21 carries, 114 rushing yards, 2 TDs, 2 receptions, 95 receiving yards, TD
Elliott went absolutely ham and eggs this week.

Le’Veon Bell vs DAL
17 carries, 57 rushing yards, TD, 9 receptions, 77 receiving yards, TD
Watching this game I couldn’t help but think that without Antonio Brown, Bell could be the #1 WR for the Steelers.

LeGarrette Blount vs SEA
21 carries, 69 rushing yards, 3 TDs
I didn’t have this game pegged as a “Blount Game”, but here you go.

Ryan Mathews vs ATL
-19 carries, 109 rushing yards, 2 TDs, 2 receptions, 30 receiving yards, 2 pt conv
I bet Doug Pederson broke a lot of lamps as a child.  He is a very accomplished liar.

DeMarco Murray vs GB
17 carries, 123 rushing yards, TD, 2 receptions, 33 receiving yards, 10 passing yards, passing TD
Just when I thought Murray had done everything possible in this offense, he completes a TD pass to Delanie Walker.

David Johnson vs SF
19 carries, 55 rushing yards, TD, 5 receptions, 46 receiving yards, TD
100 plus yards and 2 TDs somehow feels like a disappointment.

Wide Receivers

Doug Baldwin @ NE
6 receptions, 59 receiving yards, 3 TDs, 8 targets
He was the #1 WR over the second half last season, he is certainly capable of being a WR1.

Antonio Brown vs DAL
14 receptions, 154 receiving yards, TD, 18 targets, -10 rushing yards
Yeah, I mean…

Jordy Nelson @ TEN
12 receptions, 126 receiving yards, TD, 18 targets
What doubts about Jordy Nelson? Shh… be cool.

Allen Robinson vs HOU
9 receptions, 107 receiving yards, TD, 2 pt conv, 13 targets
Hopefully, his embattled owners had enough faith to start him this week.  It would’ve been a bummer to miss out on some much-needed production.

Stefon Diggs @ WAS
13 receptions, 164 receiving yards, 15 targets
Diggs has been a bright spot for the Minnesota offense this season.  He is a great fit in their new quick hitting west coast scheme.

Tyrell Williams vs MIA
-5 receptions, 125 receiving yards, TD, 11 targets
He has the size and speed to be a number 1 WR in the NFL.  In San Diego, he is, for now.

Dez Bryant @ PIT
-6 receptions, 116 receiving yards, TD, 9 targets
Per PFF, Dak Prescott recorded a passer rating of 146.8 when targeting Dez Bryant this week, the highest mark of the week.

Julio Jones @ PHI
10 receptions, 135 receiving yards, 16 targets
See Antonio Brown analysis.

Larry Fitzgerald vs SF
12 receptions, 133 receiving yards, 18 targets
The ageless wonder tied a career high in targets.

Willie Snead vs DEN
-5 receptions, 47 receiving yards, 2 TDs, 7 targets
Denver usually locks down top WRs, Willie Snead was the beneficiary.

Tight Ends

Delanie Walker vs GB
-9 receptions, 124 receiving yards, TD, 11 targets
Every time I clicked over to this game, Murray was in the open field or Walker was catching the ball.

Cameron Brate vs CHI
-7 receptions, 84 receiving yards, TD, 7 targets
Remember ASJ?  Good times.

Kyle Rudolph @ WAS
-5 receptions, 69 receiving yards, TD, 8 targets
A barfy TE.  He scored.  Be Happy.

Antonio Gates vs MIA
4 receptions, 63 receiving yards, TD, 9 targets
You hope for more production when your TE gets 9 targets, but Gates is a ‘catch and fall down’ player at this point in his career.

Kickers/Defense/Special Teams

Buccaneers D/ST vs CHI
-10 PA, 4 sacks, 1 safety, 2 INTs, 2 fumb rec, TD
How bad is Jay Cutler? No, wait, don’t answer that.

Honorable Mentions

Colin Kaepernick @ AZ
-210 passing yards, TD, 55 rushing yards, rushing TD

Dak Prescott @ PIT
-319 passing yards, 2 TDs

Bilal Powell vs LA
4 carries, 37 rushing yards, 7 receptions, 52 receiving yards, TD
