Snow, cold, and wind-As a writer talking about the weather, I feel as giddy as a punter on fourth down. You’re definitely going to see some snowy games this weekend, but it might not be as bad as you think in some cases.

Here are your NFL Week 14 weather forecasts:

Pittsburgh Steelers at Buffalo Bills
1:00 PM ET
NEW ERA FIELD
ORCHARD PARK, NEW YORK

Temp: 28°
Precipitation: Light snow
Wind: 12 mph
Wind Gusts: 18 mph

Fantasy Impact: Expect to see between .5-1″ of snowfall during the game. This game probably would have been run-heavy for both teams anyways, but the cold, snow, and breeze all but ensure plenty of touches for Le’Veon Bell and LeSean McCoy. Tyrod Taylor might actually be helped a little if he can find more space to run because of a sloppy field, but I wouldn’t be too excited about any of the Buffalo receiving options including Sammy Watkins. Ben Roethlisberger struggles on the road and the weather won’t help him but Antonio Brown and Ladarius Green should be fine.

Denver Broncos  at Tennessee Titans
1:00PM ET
NISSAN STADIUM
NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE

Temp: 48°
Precipitation: None
Wind: 13 mph
Wind Gusts: 15-28 mph

Fantasy Impact: Track the winds leading up to this game. Forecasts don’t agree, with some calling for gusts up to 15 mph and some as high as 28 mph. There wasn’t a whole lot to get excited about from an aerial attack in this game to begin with, but Emmanuel Sanders‘ outlook will take a hit if those wind gusts end up approaching 25 mph. Don’t tinker with any lineups unless the forecasts all start to expect 25 mph winds.

Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns
1:00 PM ET
FIRSTENERGY STADIUM
CLEVELAND, OHIO

Temp: 30°
Precipitation: Snow
Wind: 16 mph
Wind Gusts: 20-25 mph

Fantasy Impact: Expect to see 1-2 inches of the white shroud accumulate during the game with wind and snow getting heavier during the second half. I know Green Bay is getting a lot of the weather attention, but this game looks worse.

Jeremy Hill should feast on a terrible Cleveland run defense allowing Cincinnati to move up and down the field. If Hill does dominate on the ground aided by the snow, Andy Dalton may not be called upon to do much during the game. Tyler Eifert’s value is safe as a red zone magnet regardless of the weather, but the increase in target share Brandon LaFell and Tyler Boyd have with A.J. Green out will be offset by a lack of volume.

The Cleveland offense is pretty tough to project now that RGIII is starting fresh off of injury. Cleveland will almost certainly try to establish the run with a rusty RGIII getting the start and the sloppy weather. I really like Isaiah Crowell in this game. Crow played well with RGIII early in the year, he’s coming off a bye, he’s at home, and he has seen 5 or more targets three games in a row. I like Crow as a high-risk flier, but that’s as good as it gets for Cleveland.

Seattle Seahawks at Green Bay Packers
4:25 PM ET
LAMBEAU FIELD
GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN

Temp: 26°
Precipitation: Snow
Wind: 6 mph
Wind Gusts: 12 mph

Fantasy Impact: Twitter is freaking out about this game because of the snow, but the forecast doesn’t look that bad aside from the cold. The weather isn’t going to be significant enough to influence the game plan of either of these two teams significantly. Green Bay will use Ty Montgomery and Davante Adams in the short passing game to make up for a lack of a rush attack. That means Aaron Rodgers will have plenty of opportunities to throw and you know he will take a deep shot or two to Jordy Nelson.

Seattle will roll with Thomas Rawls who has looked studly since coming back from injury. Russell Wilson should be efficient but he’s had four games on the road with zero TDs out of six this year. Between the weather and the emergence of Rawls, the upside for Wilson just isn’t there.
