NFL Week 13 Weather Conditions (Fantasy Football)
Welcome to December NFL. The temperatures have dropped significantly and weather systems are kicking up winds across the Northeast. The weather forecasts aren’t ideal, but there’s nothing in the forecasts that are extreme enough to significantly move any players up or down right now, but things can change quickly.
I’ll post any updates here on Sunday morning with a final update around 12:30PM ET.
Catch ‘SUNDAY LIVE’ at Noon ET — Mike “The Fantasy Hitman” Wright will be answering start/sit questions, and covering injury updates for Week 13.

Fantasy Impact: Nothing is particularly good about this forecast, but it’s also not severe enough to have a drastic fantasy impact. The rain will alternate between drizzle and moderate-heavy rain. As long as the forecasts don’t worsen, proceed as normal. The weather should only be used as a tie-breaker in close start/sit decisions.

Fantasy Impact: How do you beat KC? By running and hoping to slow their offense down. How do you beat Oakland? By shutting down their run and carving up their secondary ala Sam Darnold who just torched them for over 300 yards passing and added a rushing TD. Oakland will run and Kansas City will pass.
It’s possible Derek Carr turns it around against Kansas City, but he’s impossible to trust at this point and the wind only reaffirms that. Tyrell Williams started the season with five straight games with a TD, but hasn’t scored since Week 8 and hasn’t had five or more receptions since Week 2(against KC). He’s nothing more than a WR3 this week and tournament play in DFS. Darren Waller has also cooled off, but he’s still getting targeted frequently. Oakland will likely plan to pound the ball with Josh Jacobs, but I expect to see them recenter their passing attack through Waller.
These winds aren’t good. Anything above 20 mph and we need to start discounting the passing attack, but we’re talking about Patrick Mahomes and winds that aren’t too bad. The matchup is too good to expect anything less than a dominating performance by Mahomes. If Mahomes is fine, Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce are still must starts. Full speed ahead for Kansas City’s passing attack.
