Fantasy Football: Start/Sit Decisions for Week 5
Every week, The Fantasy Footballers ask followers on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, who fantasy football owners are having the toughest Sit/Start decisions on. Get assistance with The Fantasy Footballers Sit/Start tool — based on Andy, Jason, and Mike‘s weekly rankings. Here are the three of the most popular requests for Week 5:
Aaron Jones or Kerryon Johnson?
RB Aaron Jones
Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions
Consensus: 24 / Andy: 22 / Jason: 27 / Mike: 19
RB Kerryon Johnson
Detroit Lions vs Green Bay Packers
Consensus: 19 / Andy: 20 / Jason: 19 / Mike: 26
“Carry on my wayward son!” While Aaron Jones continues to get more involved and everyone on the planet is shouting at the Packers to make him THE guy, Kerryon will most likely have more touches. Aaron Jones is still startable in leagues, coming in as the Consensus RB24.
Corey Davis or Doug Baldwin?
WR Corey Davis
Tennessee Titans vs Buffalo Bills
Consensus: 21 / Andy: 20 / Jason: 21 / Mike: 21
WR Doug Baldwin
Seattle Seahawks vs Los Angeles Rams
Consensus: 23 / Andy: 23 / Jason: 23 / Mike: 25
The breakout week finally happened for Corey Davis in Week 4 with 9 catches for 161 yards and a TD on 15 targets. Doug Baldwin returned and played 76% of snaps last week, leading the team in targets. It’s a much better matchup for the Titans, but the widest gap between these two players in Andy, Jason, and Mike’s individual rankings is only 4 spots.
John Brown or Tyler Boyd?
WR John Brown
Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns
Consensus: 22 / Andy: 21 / Jason: 22 / Mike: 22
WR Tyler Boyd
Cincinnati Bengals vs Miami Dolphins
Consensus: 17 / Andy: 16 / Jason: 20 / Mike: 18
Left for dead in fantasy football, Tyler Boyd has been tearing it up this season! He has 7 or more targets & 90+ receiving yards in each of his last 3 games. John Brown has been putting up plenty of fantasy points himself. We’ve always known the talent is there when he’s healthy. They’re VERY close in the Fantasy Footballers individual rankings, but Boyd gets the nod with that kind of consistent production lately. Boyd is also Jason’s WR Start of the Week.
