2017 NFL Week 4 Weather Conditions
Last week’s weather was unbelievable, but temps have dipped and wind may be a factor in a couple games this week, especially in Kansas City. The forecasts call for some pretty strong winds that start dying around kickoff but, as we saw in Green Bay, weather can change quickly. Without further ado, here are your Week 4 weather conditions:
Sunday, October 1, 2017:

9:30 AM ET
WEMBLEY STADIUM
WEMBLEY(LONDON), ENGLAND
Temp: 64°
Precipitation: Drizzle likely
Wind: 15 mph
Wind Gusts: 27 mph
Fantasy Impact: Wind gusts above 20 mph can become problematic, but it’s tough to predict if these winds will have any impact on the game. The field at Wembley Stadium is exposed, but the seats are covered. There’s no way to tell whether the winds will impact the game on the field, but I’m guessing the winds shouldn’t be a factor. Fire up Drew Brees and Jay Cutler. Weird things happen when teams travel to London but this game has the makings of a shootout, atleast on paper.

Fantasy Impact: The over/under for this game is sitting at 49.5. Obviously Vegas expects some fireworks but if the wind gusts are as strong as the forecast is predicting, we could see the effects on the field. If that wasn’t bad enough, Washington’s offense has looked putrid all year with the exception of last week. Now Kirk Cousins and company are travelling to a notoriously difficult place to play.
Alex Smith has looked resurgent this year, but I’m not buying Smith as a gimme QB1. With the exception of Kareem Hunt and maybe Tyreek Hill (if desperate), I’m avoiding this game. Even if the weather was perfect, games at Arrowhead have only surpassed 48 points once going back to last year. Watch the forecasts closely leading up to kickoff. I’m not buying the 49.5 point over/under either way, but the winds could be significantly worse or better with a slight adjustment to the forecast.
