Week 3 Pick’Em Selections on DraftKings

GPP: Drew Brees at Atlanta
Brees ranks third in passing yards and tied for sixth in Pass TDs so far this season. Although the Saints are on the road, Brees still gets to play in a dome in a game with a current Over/Under of 53.5 points against a Falcons’ defense that ranked 20th in Pass DVOA a season ago and now is operating without Safety Keanu Neal.

Cash: Patrick Mahomes vs. San Francisco
Mahomes was my favorite QB in the 2017 NFL Draft thanks to his elite talent and physical traits but I definitely didn’t see fireworks popping off for him this early in his career. Clearly, the supporting cast in Kansas City helped Alex Smith put up the big numbers he did last season and now the more physically gifted Mahomes is taking things to another level. Mahomes has averaged 291 passing yards and 5 pass TDs per game through two contests and now gets to play at home against a 49ers’ defense that ranked 22nd in passing yards allowed and 28th in pass DVOA last season.
