Drew Brees vs. PIT $8,500
Drew Brees has had two stinkers in a row but returns home where he has a 20:1 TD: INT ratio with a 77 completion percentage. Brees only has 11 touchdowns to four interceptions on the road and he’s averaging 217 passing yards compared to 320 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Brees hasn’t topped 203 passing yards since Week 11, but his Saints have the highest team implied total of the week (30.5) and this NO/PIT game has the highest total on the main slate (53).
Ben Roethlisberger @ NO $8,700
Many will likely shy away from Big Ben because of the price. I don’t suggest spending up for a QB in cash, but Ben Roethlisberger is definitely a tournament option. He’ll likely be a contrarian one too, due to him being the highest priced QB on FanDuel and DraftKings. Ben has the potential to go toe-to-toe with Brees if he needs too. This could be one of those games where he throws the ball 50 times, as the Saints are a tough team to run on and James Conner is very doubtful in this contest.
