GPP: Aaron Jones vs. Atlanta
Jones disappointed a bit last Sunday but not for a lack of talent. Mike McCarthy inexplicably had Jones share time with Jamaal Williams in that contest. Rejoice though fantasy football owners because McCarthy has been fired and that should be another addition by subtraction move like we saw earlier in the season with the firings of Mike McCoy in Arizona and Hue Jackson in Cleveland. Thus, gambling on Jones’ increased playing time this week is a risk worth taking since he gets to play at home in an incredibly favorable matchup. Jones gets to face a Falcons defense that ranks 27th in rushing yards allowed per game and 29th in Run DVOA.
Cash: Aaron Rodgers vs. Atlanta
Rodgers is in an extremely intriguing spot this week against a Falcons defense ranks 25th in passing yards allowed per game and 31st in Pass DVOA and Rodgers gets them at home in Lambeau Field. Plus, Mike McCarthy has been fired and that should be another addition by subtraction move like we saw earlier in the season with the firings of Mike McCoy in Arizona and Hue Jackson in Cleveland.
