NFL DFS cash games are all about building a high-floor lineup that can win in head-to-heads, 50/50s, and double-ups. Each week I’ll highlight my favorite cash game picks that I have some confidence heading into the weekend to put into my player pools. For more on cash game strategy and the mechanics of it, make sure you listen to our DFS Cash Overview episode. Be sure you’re also subscribed to the DFS Podcast where Kyle and I go through the main slate every Friday and recap each slate on Tuesdays. Let’s get after it!

Quarterbacks

Lamar Jackson $7,400
On a slate that lacks massive upside at the QB position without Justin Herbert, Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen, Lamar stands out as having the highest ceiling at the QB position for Week 2. With JK Dobbins out last week, the Ravens chose to lean on Lamar and the passing attack, throwing at a 63% rate in neutral situations (9th) with Baltimore ranking 6th in pass rate over expectation in Week 1. Dobbins should be back this week, but he’s unlikely to receive a full workload, suggesting we should see a similar game plan in Week 2. Kyle and I are in on the over in the BAL/MIA game given Miami’s tendency to throw as well, which should help elevate all pieces in this matchup, including the Ravens’ QB1. Of course, we know Jackson is capable of 50+ rushing yards as well any time he takes the field.
