The O/U is a jaw-dropping 54.5…and 84% of the money is on the over as the public assumes defenses are taking the night off. The Cowboys are 3-0 to the Over at home on the year.
Main takeaway from the social books: One, they love DAL to cover, and two, Novig loves the over. On ProphetX, bettors are avoiding ARI, leaving DAL -3 with roughly $23k in liquidity. The O/U is split evenly with no lean in either direction. When your defense is bad, sometimes you gotta slang it to stay in games. That’s what Dak does and now welcomes the Cardinals’ 27th-ranked sack defense, bringing down the QB on only 4% of attempts. Only one other QB that started all games this year gets sacked less than Prescott (Bo Nix). Dak is excellent in that department, getting sacked on only 3% of plays. That dynamic sets up as a matchup where he will be able to throw as the Cardinals bleed out receiving yards, allowing 240 per game on average. With CeeDee back and George Pickens no longer eating crazy pill burritos, there is no reason to think he won’t cook at home in the dome.
