As he did last week, Smith has kicked off this week with back-to-back capped sessions. It remains to be seen if he'll get back to full at Friday's practice, but after getting the LP treatment three times during Week 2 prep, it wasn't enough to be active this past Sunday against the Buccaneers. In any case, Friday's injury report may give a sense of Smith's chances to suit up Sunday in Carolina.
