Julio Jones, WR (TB)

Won't play this weekend

Jones won't play in Saturday's preseason game against Tennessee, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.

Despite taking part in joint practices throughout the week, Jones will be held out for a second straight preseason game. The Bucs expect to have QB Tom Brady back at practice next week, so it might make sense to give him and Jones some run in the preseason finale. Jones' role to open the season remains to be seen, with his snap count in part depending on Chris Godwin's return from an ACL tear.
