Malik Willis, QB (TEN)

Cements status at pro day

Willis impressed scouts at Liberty's Pro Day on March 22, Yahoo! Sports reports.

It's becoming increasingly likely that Willis will be the first quarterback off the board in April. Willis has a blend of rare arm strength to go with standout athleticism on film. The highlight of his pro day performance was his final throw, a cross-body launch that traveled 70 yards in the air. There are still questions about some facets of Willis' game and how they will translate, but there is no doubt that his tools give him the highest ceiling in a quarterback class that is largely lacking other obvious standouts. Willis projects to be a first-rounder who could go as high as within the Top 10.
